Mainline Group is a leading Engineering solutions provider servicing the Power, Water, Telecom & Energy sectors.About the Role:This role is within our Power Division, supporting operations across the middle of Ireland. The successful candidate will work within the ESB Framework team.The purpose of the role is to patrol designated areas inspecting minipillars to ensure that they are free of any public safety hazards, inspect them for rust and other damage and ensure that they are correctly fitted with danger notices and numbers etc. Some minor repairs may be required on the spot and major repairs would require reporting for follow-on work.Full training will be provided.Role Responsibilities:Surveying of existing rural/urban LV Mini-Pillars and Unit Substations to record existing networksDetecting and reporting hazards that pillars and unit substations may present to the publicIdentifying hazards or defects and addressing with follow-on works where relevantAffixing Danger stickers and re-stencilling where missing or fadedRe-seating covers, removing debris and other maintenance work where relevantWhat we're looking for:Basic IT skills.Self-starter with honesty and time keeping a paramount requirement.Full clean driving licence.Ability to work with high volumes of transactional data.Pragmatic problem-solving skills.Able to work systematically within clear guidelines.Strong communication skills.Ability to work independently and to deadlines.Benefits:Mainline is committed to its employees and offers an attractive competitive packageA competitive SalaryPension contributionsCompany VehicleAccess to Health Insurance – waiting periods waivedBike to work schemeEmployee Assistance Programme
