This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects across the Pharmaceutical, Petrochemical, and Food & Beverage sectors.Role OverviewAs a Senior Mechanical Estimator / QS, you will be responsible for the commercial and financial management of mechanical projects, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed tenders and quotations from drawings and specificationsConduct quantity take-offs and develop pricing documentsSource and negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliersProcure materials in line with tender requirementsManage client accounts including interim valuations and final accountsProcess payment certificates and ensure timely paymentsEvaluate tenders against construction progress and variationsTrack project costs and labour throughout the lifecycleIdentify and report commercial risksContribute to project scheduling and liaise with clientsIdeal Candidate ProfileDegree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Estimating, or Mechanical EngineeringMinimum 5+ years’ experience in mechanical contracting or estimatingProven track record in medium to large-scale mechanical projectsStrong understanding of contract conditions and claims preparationSkilled in project measurement and financial managementExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesSalary & BenefitsFor more information on this position please call Allan Daly on 0863889426 or apply online and a member of the Ward Personnel team will be in touch.
