Title: Air Freight Forwarder Exports Location: Shannon Type: Full time, Permanent Package: Competitive salary, Pension, Other benefits This well-established company is currently seeking an experienced Air Freight Forwarder to join their dynamic airfreight team in Shannon.
In this role, youll be responsible for coordinating export shipments by air to destinations around the world.
From preparing essential documentation and liaising with airlines to arranging collections and handling customs clearance, youll oversee all elements of the export process.
Key Responsibilities: Manage the full cycle of airfreight exports, from pick-up through to international delivery Communicate with airlines, airports, and overseas agents to ensure smooth operations Prepare and process documentation, including airwaybills and SAD entries Maintain up-to-date knowledge of airline rates and schedules Generate export paperwork and issue invoices accurately and in a timely manner Provide support across both import and export activities as needed Ideal Candidate: Minimum of 2 years experience in airfreight operations Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Strong organisational and time-management skills Ability to work well under pressure and stay calm in a fast-paced environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills For a confidential conversation about this opportunity or others in the market, please contact Nicola Murphy.
