Electrical Quantity Surveyor The Electrical Quantity Surveyor will manage one or multiple contracts, overseeing the full commercial lifecycle from tender to final account, ensuring maximum value for the company and handling all associated responsibilities in between. Responsibilities Prepare budgets, develop BOQs, profit plans, and commercial reports in conjunction with the project team. Undertake and manage interim commercial meetings with clients and internal project teams. Report on the commercial status of projects as required. Manage subcontractor accounts, including interim valuations, final accounts, and processing of payment certificates in line with agreed contracts. Retentions applied as per agreements. Administer contract obligations and additional client requirements. Issue interim and final accounts, progress applications, and include remeasures, site changes, dayworks, and applicable claims. Identify potential commercial risks and report promptly to senior management. Follow direction from senior management in undertaking duties. Collaborate closely with the Planning Engineer to ensure scheduling and progress reporting align with commercial implications. Requirements 3rd level qualification in Construction Economics or Quantity Surveying. Previous experience working on electrical projects. Knowledge of contract law. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Eligible to work in Ireland. Full, clean driving licence.
