Job Description:
* We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Health and Safety Specialist to join our team.
* The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational health and safety, with experience in the construction and/or utility services industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Support the installation and service department by promoting a positive safety culture and providing guidance on site safety management.
2. Mentor project managers and project engineers on site set up and act as the EHS interface with clients.
3. Carry out site inspections and surveys to maintain a high standard of safety.
4. Develop and monitor EHS objectives for the company, ensuring compliance with regulations.
5. Liaise with regulatory bodies and provide advice on key legislative requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in EHS within the construction and/or utility services industry.
* National Diploma in Health & Safety or an undergraduate degree from a reputable university.
* NEBOSH Construction Safety and Health Certificate.
* Professional Chartered Membership of IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) or IIRSM.
