Job Description
The CSA Construction Manager will be responsible for leading, managing, and coordinating the CSA construction scope for a data center construction project. The role requires strict adherence to safety, schedule, quality standards, change control, logistics, site coordination, and security requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Managing coordination of civil, structural, and architectural work packages.
2. Overseeing site safety in collaboration with the safety advisor, including setup, management, and documentation.
3. Managing site QA processes with the project team, including setup and closeout of QA files.
4. Coordinating project schedules with planners, project managers, subcontractors, and engineers/architects to meet project requirements.
5. Controlling project costs with support from the project QS, including labor, materials, and equipment, as well as managing variations and valuations.
6. Supervising daily site operations and subcontractor activities, tracking progress, and maintaining documentation.
7. Participating in site meetings, project reviews, and handover procedures, including final account and safety documentation.
8. Issuing daily and weekly reports on project progress and safety statistics.
9. Conducting weekly commercial meetings to manage variations and costs.
10. Developing and implementing company procedures and managing change processes.
11. Reviewing drawings, producing builders work drawings, and managing CSA snag list closure.
Skills and Requirements
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a construction manager.
* Strong knowledge of design and construction processes.
* Ability to manage people and schedules effectively.
* Trade background or third-level qualification.
* Proven experience in managing large projects.
