Job Description Retail Showroom Manager (Furniture & Interiors) Overview We are a growing interior design studio launching a retail showroom & online shop in Dublin 2. We are seeking an ambitious and client-focused Sales Manager to set up the retail function & lead sales activity in our showroom. This role is responsible for driving sales, managing client relationships, overseeing stock and orders, and ensuring that every customer receives an exceptional service experience. You will be the retail showroom manager and responsible for managing your team, and ensuring the showroom is managed at the highest standard and the store image impeccable, reflective of the companys high-end value chain. The ideal candidate is passionate about design and combines sales acumen with an understanding of interiors and design, and thrives in a role that blends showroom leadership with hands-on selling. This an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced growing company at the forefront of design Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership Meet and exceed sales targets through proactive client engagement. Lead the showroom sales process: greeting clients, advising on products, finishes, and styling. Develop strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals. Develop marketing initiatives, client follow-ups, and local business development. Generate design studio leads. Client Experience Act as the main point of contact for showroom clients. Provide professional design-inspired advice tailored to client needs. Handle after-sales support with care and efficiency. Stock & Orders Manage stock levels and ensure accurate product records. Process, track, and oversee orders with suppliers and logistics partners. Ensure smooth and timely deliveries, resolving any issues proactively. Person Specification Essential Qualities Experience: 3+ years in retail sales, ideally in furniture, interiors, or luxury retail. Retail Management Experience essential. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Experience managing client accounts and stock/orders. Skills: Strong leadership and sales skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Commercial mindset with strong organizational skills. Confident with sales systems, stock management tools, and MS Office. Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, professional, and client-oriented. Passionate about furniture, interiors, and design trends. Highly reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive. Able to balance sales leadership with operational efficiency. Able to work off own initiative. Desirable Qualities Interior design education or background. Experience in showroom visual merchandising. Social media/marketing awareness to support sales. Remuneration Package Hours of Work: Tuesday to Friday 10am 5pm. Saturday 10am 3pm.
