A multinational company in South Dublin is seeking a Group Financial Accountant to join its finance team. The role will involve monthly reporting, IFRS financial statements, audit support, and working closely with international finance teams across the business.
Your Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly consolidated management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting across international entities
Assist with the preparation of annual consolidated IFRS financial statements and related disclosures
Manage intercompany reconciliations and investigate variances with local finance teams
Prepare and review actual versus budget analysis with financial controllers across the group
Prepare fixed asset and intangible asset reconciliations across multiple entities and currencies
Prepare statutory financial statements and audit packs for annual external audits
Support corporation tax and deferred tax reporting at entity and group level
Assist with board reporting, shareholder reporting and ad hoc finance projects
Your Requirements:
Qualified Chartered Accountant with relevant finance experience
Experience preparing quarterly and annual financial statements under IFRS
Experience preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts, budgets, and variance analysis
Exposure to working with international entities and group reporting
Good knowledge of ERP systems within a finance environment
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders across the business
Self motivated with a hands on approach and ability to work on own initiative
