Senior Projects Engineer – Pharmaceutical Construction

We are seeking an experienced
Senior Projects Engineer
to join a major pharmaceutical construction project in the Midlands, working with a Tier 1 main contractor.
This is a high-profile build within a regulated environment, offering excellent career progression and the opportunity to work on a technically complex project.
The Role
As Senior Projects Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering the project to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
You will be responsible for managing engineering processes, coordinating design elements, and ensuring successful delivery of fit-out stages.
You will work closely with the client and project team to maintain strong communication and alignment on all aspects of the build.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee engineering works from early construction through to fit-out and commissioning.
Ensure compliance with quality procedures and industry regulations.
Manage and coordinate design information between consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
Liaise with clients, ensuring expectations are met and project milestones achieved.
Monitor programme and progress, ensuring deadlines and budgets are adhered to.
Lead quality inspections and ensure work meets the required standards.
Support the project management team in achieving project goals.
Skills & Experience Required
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a Senior Engineer or similar role on large-scale projects.
Strong knowledge of Quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Experience with design coordination and fit-out works.
Proven ability to manage subcontractors and liaise effectively with clients.
Pharmaceutical or other regulated industry experience is highly desirable.
