Overview:
Please be advised that this is a fixed term contract until 31/01/2026. It is a full time position, the working hours are 37.5hrs/5 days, Monday to Sunday. Keyholder duties are involved.
Main Purpose
Assist the Store Manager/Assistant Manager in the smooth running of the store in order to achieve sales and cost targets. Provide exceptional customer service and support in a retail environment, promoting and selling premium cookware products. Undertake keyholder responsibilities, ensuring the store is secure and operational during opening and closing times.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
* Customer Service: Greet and assist customers, providing expert advice on our cookware products.
* Sales: Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective company sales techniques, product demonstrations and upselling.
* Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of our product range and stay updated on new arrivals and promotions.
* Merchandising: Ensure the store is well-stocked, organised, clean and tidy by undertaking all housekeeping duties and visually appealing.
* Inventory Management: Assist with stock control and checks, including receiving, unpacking, and organising merchandise.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to create a positive and productive work environment.
* Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system. Cash up in accordance with company policy and procedures.
* Keyholder Duties: Open and close the store, ensuring all security procedures are followed.
Qualifications:
* Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Passion for cooking and familiarity with cookware products.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
* Trustworthy and reliable, with the ability to handle keyholder duties.
