 
        
        Project Manager - Technical Lead
The Project Manager Technical Lead will be a crucial member of the Programme Management Office (PMO) team, responsible for overseeing and managing the technical aspects of various projects.
The role holder will have responsibility for ensuring that data migration, business intelligence development, infrastructure, interfaces, and market interaction technologies are fit for purpose.
The ideal candidate will have a background in project management and technical leadership, with a sound understanding of data management principles.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Work within the PMO team to support the management of project delivery.
 * Report to the Project Director for the duration of the programme implementation.
 * Oversee the technical delivery for the programme (infrastructure, data migration, BI, and interfaces).
 * Define roles and responsibilities of the team and determine clear deliverables.
 * Develop a motivational impact on the team and foster cohesion with the project team.
 * Build out technical project plans, assumptions, schedules, deliverables, and milestones.
 * Lead IT workstreams team leads to coordinate and schedule resources.
 * Monitor progress of technical work, track, and provide regular scheduled project status and planned against actual tracking reports and presentations.
 * Maintain project RAID Log for all workstreams under responsibility.
 * Ensure full transparency of all technical scope, delivery status, and resource assignment.
 * Develop risk mitigation strategies to manage project risks.
 * Ensure Project Change Management and Quality Assurance standards are met.
Technical Capabilities:
 * Strong technical background with ability to understand, learn, and communicate with technical experts.
 * Good architecture and infrastructure knowledge necessary for understanding and managing the technical streams within the wider technical landscape/tech stack.
 
 * Bridge the gap between business and technical teams through excellent communication and technical awareness.
 * Ensure scope of data migration is clearly articulated, managed, tracked with roles and responsibilities of the team clearly understood.
 * Working knowledge of MS Dynamics and associated architecture and application is a significant advantage.
 * Ability to become intimately knowledgeable about the ERP technology and technical approach (between teams and SW vendor).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
 * Relevant degree in the fields of IT Project Management / PRINCE2 Certification.
 * Minimum 5 years experience in the fields of IT Project Management.
 * Comfortable and knowledgeable across standard technology stacks, with particular focus on Microsoft Dynamics, data warehousing, BI dashboard development, and data engineering technology.
 * Proven experience in project management, with a focus on technical projects related to data migration, BI development, infrastructure, interfaces, and market interaction technologies.
 * Experience managing multiple project/work track schedules including interdependencies.
 * Strong ability to multi-task and successfully coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
 * Ability to prioritize activities effectively, while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
 * Strong working knowledge of Microsoft technology stack.
 * Excellent process driven and organizational skills, including attention to detail, time management, and multi-tasking.
 * Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams and step in to have difficult conversations if and when required.
 * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
 * Ability to be self-motivated, recognize problems, be decisive, and deliver solutions.
 * Ability to work as part of a team in both team member and leadership roles.
