Operations Assistant
We are seeking a highly experienced Operations Assistant to join our team at a high-profile organisation in the Limerick & wider mid-west region.

The Role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the ideal candidate will assist at an operational level as needed and complete all tasks assigned.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading Front of House and Retail management for concerts and events
* General administrative duties including maintenance of timesheets, H&S, and retail records
* Ensuring the safety of all patrons, staff, visitors etc. through the proper implementation and enforcement of Health & Safety regulations and emergency procedures
* Working closely with all relevant departments to ensure the venue and all events operate smoothly and efficiently
* Managing and assisting with projects, which may include procurement, facilities, and event management
* Encouraging and acting upon customer comments and complaints to improve service delivery
* Managing all day-to-day operations within budget guidelines
* Ensuring compliance with legal requirements regarding weights and measures, licensing laws, health and safety, and fire procedures
* Leading the Bar, Retail and FOH team by attracting, recruiting, training, and appraising talented personnel
* Monitoring staff's work performance, time keeping, general discipline, and adherence to staff dress code
* Developing optimum levels of staff support through developing and managing staff rosters
* Responsible for the financial performance of the Bar and Retail units
* Adhering to targets and assisting in the development of department budgets
* Ensuring that all relevant sales, revenue, and gross profit metrics are met or exceeded
* Managing and ensuring tight stock control and cash handling procedures
Skill & Experience Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess:
* A minimum of 3 years' relevant beverage management experience
* A good understanding of contract management, procurement, project delivery, and commercial negotiations
* Team management and supervisory experience
* An understanding of the Arts and venue management
* A proven history of supporting a high-performing team
* Experience with EPOS Systems
* Proven ability in collecting and analysing data and producing financial reports
* A strong work ethic, good knowledge of people management practice, and excellent communication and people skills
The Offer:
This is a permanent onsite role with a base salary ranging from €27,000 - €32,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
The Operations Assistant will be required to work in accordance with the programme of events, with working hours varying in line with service needs.
