Aramark Retail Supervisor - University Hospital Galway
Aramark is seeking a Retail Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the 'One Stop' shop and coffee shop at University Hospital Galway. Reporting to the Retail Manager, the successful candidate will manage retail, deli counter, and coffee shop services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in completing the store's operational requirements by scheduling and assigning staff.
2. Ensure compliance with Aramark procedures regarding Opx and system requirements.
3. Implement policies and protocols to maintain and improve retail operations.
4. Assist with store targets, scorecards, and payroll.
5. Conduct regular audits to ensure the shop's functionality and presentation.
6. Ensure staff adherence to company policies and procedures.
7. Coordinate daily front-of-house and back-of-house retail operations.
8. Assist in monthly inventory management.
9. Follow health and safety policies and procedures.
10. Identify customer requirements by analyzing sales data.
11. Represent the store and set an example for staff.
12. Train staff on customer service best practices.
13. Ensure proper merchandising and presentation of stock lines.
14. Respond effectively to customer complaints.
15. Act as the lead operator in the absence of the Retail Manager.
16. Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Retail Manager.

Candidate Requirements
* Previous supervisory experience
* Passion for delivering excellent customer service
* Knowledge of Food Hygiene practices, such as HACCP
