Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Digital Services Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining digital systems and services that meet the needs of our organisation and its customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Seamlessly monitoring customers' connected assets.
* Being the main point of contact within Service Operations for Hubgrade.
* Assisting in the procurement, delivery, and installation/commissioning of Hubgrade equipment to system units at initial installation and retrofit.
* Activating the Equipment on the Web portal and linking to the customer site.
* Ensuring correct data transmission and operation.
* Monitoring the systems on Hubgrade to ensure signal strength and data transmission.
* Monitoring the systems on Hubgrade and taking appropriate actions to deal with alarms and system performance issues.
* Ensuring that all alarm conditions have been properly logged and actioned/escalated as appropriate.
Technical Support & Admin
The successful candidate will also be responsible for:
* Providing technical assistance and remote support to external customers as needed.
* Generating, analysing, and presenting technical and performance reports to internal teams and clients.
Ad Hoc Duties
The successful candidate may be required to travel overseas on business, training, or related business occasionally. Additional duties may be assigned as required.
