About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team in Dublin. This role will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of quality and service that make a difference in our guests' experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Promote a professional image to clients and provide full cooperation to any customer requiring assistance.
* Train employees to meet hotel standards through regular coaching and feedback sessions.
* Anticipate client needs to enhance quality service and increase client satisfaction by being proactive and responsive.
* Collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals and be flexible in assisting around the hotel as needed.
* Maintain regular communication within the team and attend meetings when required to stay informed.
* Create an environment that promotes staff morale and encourages employees to take pride in their skills by recognizing and rewarding achievements.
* Address development needs identified from appraisal with management and maximize use of strengths through targeted training and growth opportunities.
* Promote sales awareness within set standards by effectively communicating menu offerings and promotions.
* Assist in controlling operating costs within the hotel by monitoring expenses and identifying areas for improvement.
* Identify and report any hazards or maintenance requirements in the workplace to management to ensure a safe working environment.
* Comply with statutory and legal requirements for fires, health, and safety licensing and employment by adhering to established protocols.
* Ensure the smooth running of the restaurant while on shift by prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
* Prepare the restaurant for the following shift by completing end-of-shift duties and ensuring all necessary equipment is operational.
* Report all issues to the Bar/Food & Beverage Manager promptly to prevent delays and maintain seamless operations.
