Role Overview As a Senior Engineer, you will take a leading role in managing the technical and operational aspects of projects from early construction through to completion. You will work closely with the site management team, subcontractors, and design professionals to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities Manage engineering functions across all phases of construction. Supervise and support site engineers and ensure accurate setting out and quality control. Liaise with design teams, consultants, and subcontractors to coordinate technical solutions. Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance. Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with programme schedules and safety standards. Prepare and maintain method statements, risk assessments, and quality documentation. Drive high standards of health & safety, quality, and environmental compliance on site. Contribute to project planning, sequencing, and resource allocation. Candidate Requirements Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum of 58 years experience in a similar role with a main contractor. Proven experience working on large-scale residential, commercial, or industrial projects. Strong technical knowledge of construction processes and best practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in construction software such as Auto CAD, Total Station, and project management tools.
