About the Job:
We are seeking a Legal Specialist to provide expert legal support for our client across key areas including contracts, complaints and dispute resolution, privacy, and other legal matters essential to our business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts in collaboration with contract owners, procurement teams, and other stakeholders.
2. Advise on member complaints, appeals, and cases referred to the FSPO.
3. Assist in managing litigation matters and liaising with external legal counsel.
4. Identify and mitigate legal risks to protect business interests.
5. Monitor and assess the impact of new and pending legislation on the company.
6. Support corporate governance and data protection compliance.
7. Provide guidance to non-legal teams on contract terms and legal matters.
You Will Succeed In This Role If You:
1. Hold a Bachelor's Degree (a legal qualification is desirable).
2. Have 2-5+ years of post-qualification experience in a legal firm, in-house legal team, or within the insurance industry.
3. Experience in contract drafting and review is preferred; dispute resolution and litigation experience is an advantage.
4. Possess strong communication, negotiation, and attention to detail.
5. Thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities with a commercial mindset.
6. Work well both independently and as part of a team.
