Role Profile We have an exciting opportunity for an 3PL Inventory Manager based in our collaborative hub in Abbey Quarter, Co.
Kilkenny.
The 3PL Inventory Manager reports to the Fulfilment and Warehousing Manager is responsible for maximising the efficiency of a defined cluster of third-party warehouses.
This role will provide a primary point of contact between the individual warehouse and the business, allow for a focus on strategic placement of product, cost monitoring and performance improvement.
Responsibilities Oversee agreed periodic stock reconciliations with each warehouse, which align with business requirements and are underpinned with documented processes.
Own and understand the monthly financial performance of all warehouse activity.
Ownership of the complaints process which should include a review and acceptance procedure, accountability, corrective actions & timelines.
Chair periodic performance reviews with each warehouse Develop and implement warehouse strategy alongside the Fulfilment and Warehousing management team Support and drive development of the Monthly S&OP forecast review Embrace, embed and enhance the COVI culture within Warehousing but also across the wider Logistics and Planning department Use network visibility & analysis to find the right measure and scoring of KPIs to drive performance.
Work closely with the other 3PL Inventory Manager by developing common ways of working, processes and SOPs, whilst also facilitating holiday cover.
Support and drive development in the broader programs of work working closely with the Fulfilment & Warehouse Manager to monitor the overall functions strategy and ambition.
Be an effective agent in the 3M process, striving to implement and learn GPS tools where appropriate to enhance the services and processes.
Requirements Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain or equivalent qualification.
At Least 5 years experience in the area of logistics & Supply Chain.
A strong aptitude for Logistics IT systems and innovation of intuitive user interfaces.
Strongly analytical and structured approach to problem solving Possess excellent verbal and written reporting skills Controlling large volumes of initiatives under a program of work to a successful conclusion.
Ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Results driven, performance capability in a fast-moving business environment Strong Computer literacy in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel & a working knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP process.
Organised and methodical, with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work well both as part of a team or independently.
