Offer description

Product Operations Specialist
EZO are an innovative and rapidly scaling Irish EV company delivering cleaner, smarter mobility solutions across Ireland and the UK. Our technology platforms support EV charging operations, customer billing, payments, and internal business processes across a rapidly growing charging network.
As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Product Operations professional to help strengthen execution across product and business teams in a fast‑paced e‑mobility environment. This is an opportunity to play a key role in ensuring that product initiatives, operational processes, and system integrations are delivered effectively and scaled sustainably.
Role Summary
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Product Operations Specialist to drive alignment and execution across product and business initiatives. This role is well suited to someone with experience in product operations or business operations within a software company, and who can bring structure to complex cross‑functional work. The successful candidate will help ensure that teams, systems, and releases run smoothly by coordinating feature delivery, maintaining clear documentation, translating business needs into actionable user stories, supporting production issue resolution, and enabling teams across the business to adopt new capabilities effectively.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate initiatives that span product, engineering, operations, and business teams to ensure timely and effective delivery.
Maintain clear, accurate, and up‑to‑date product and operational documentation, including processes, requirements, release materials, and integration records.
Own production bug triage processes, working closely with engineering and support stakeholders to identify and prioritise issues, coordinate resolution, and minimise customer or business impact.
Partner with system analysts, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to ensure integrations are implemented, monitored, and functioning without service disruption.
Coordinate feature releases across teams, support UAT activities, and ensure readiness across development, operations, and business communications.
Gather business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into clear, structured, and actionable user stories for delivery teams.
Draft and communicate release notes to internal teams and relevant stakeholders, ensuring clarity on feature changes, impacts, and timelines.
Plan and deliver training sessions and onboarding materials to help business and operational teams adopt new features and processes successfully.
Track dependencies, risks, blockers, and operational readiness across product initiatives, escalating issues where appropriate.
Support continuous improvement of product operations processes, release governance, and cross‑functional ways of working.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in product operations, product delivery, business operations, or a similar cross‑functional role.
Background in software engineering, business operations, or a strong technical foundation, with a solid understanding of how software is designed, built, tested, released, and supported.
Proven experience leading and coordinating initiatives across product and business teams.
Hands‑on experience managing production issues, coordinating releases, and supporting cross‑team operational processes.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non‑technical teams.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams at once.
Experience creating documentation, release communications, and training materials for a range of audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience working in a startup or high‑growth environment is highly desirable.
Experience in the EV, mobility, energy, or related technology space is an advantage, but not required.
Familiarity with payment service provider integrations or payment operations is a strong bonus.
Experience supporting cross‑functional product launches in complex operational or regulated environments is beneficial.

What Success Looks Like
The ideal candidate is structured, delivery‑focused, and comfortable operating at the intersection of product, technology, and business. They are confident working with technical teams, able to bring clarity to ambiguity, and skilled at driving follow‑through across multiple stakeholders. They combine operational discipline with strong communication and a practical understanding of software delivery, helping ensure that features, integrations, and business processes are implemented smoothly and sustainably.
