A new opportunity is now available for a Warehouse Operator with a Life Sciences Multinational based organisation in Blarney, Cork.
 * Its an 11 month FTC and paying €17.45.
 * Based in the warehouse
 * New warehouse, must be willing to work alone when needed and be able to show initiative.
 * Split up- receiving/staging/shipping
 * Cross trained into all three eventually
Position Responsibilities
 * Ensures a high EHS focus within the Warehouse Team to maintain safe working practices and standards.
 * Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures are always adhered to.
 * Delivery Receipts, ensure that deliveries are checked for accuracy and quality against the delivery paperwork before receiving material onto the ERP.
 * Order Fulfilment, pick, prepare and transact material on the ERP for both internal departments and for shipment to external customers.
 * Inventory management, maintain accurate inventory records, track the movement of goods and ensure that products are stored correctly within the warehouse.
 * Shipping, Preparation and Processing of shipments on the ERP and generation of all shipping documents.
 * Equipment operation, responsible for operating Pallet trucks, Counterbalance, V.N.A,
 * Supports other Warehouse Operators to ensure optimum efficiency of the Warehouse Team.
 * High level of flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to changing business demands.
 * Ad-hoc duties as per standard warehouse practices
Skills needed
 * Experience working GMP Environment in Logistics/Distribution role in a Life Science/regulated environment.
 * Experience and working knowledge of SAP is essential for Receiving, Staging & Shipping functions within the warehouse.
 * Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
 * Excellent organisation and communications skills both written and oral
 * Hands on approach, enthusiastic and a customer focussed attitude.
 * Narrow Aisle Truck, counterbalance truck, power pallet truck, stacker truck
 * Strong attention to detail, good organisational skills, and the ability to prioritize with changing situations.
 * Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.
 * Be a strong team member with the ability to identify and drive efficiency improvements.
