Senior Automation Engineer Opportunity
Senior automation engineers are highly skilled professionals responsible for designing, developing and implementing automated systems that improve manufacturing efficiency and productivity.
We seek an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to lead projects from concept through to validation and implementation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory standards. This role requires strong technical expertise in programming and troubleshooting PLCs, SCADA, HMIs and control networks.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or a related field, with 4+ years of experience in automation engineering within a regulated manufacturing environment. They will possess excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing robust automation solutions using PLCs, SCADA systems, robotics, vision systems and MES platforms. They will also provide technical leadership in root cause analysis, problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives, and mentor junior engineers to support knowledge-sharing within the team. Additionally, they will contribute to strategic planning of automation technology roadmaps and digital transformation initiatives.
