The role focuses on supplier audits, supply chain mapping, regulatory due diligence, data reporting, vendor compliance and supporting internal teams on sustainability requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesEthical Trade and Supplier AuditsCoordinate supplier and factory audits covering ethical, social and environmental standardsMaintain records, track corrective actions and support continuous improvement with suppliersSupport Portwest owned factory compliance including SMETA planning, readiness and follow upSupply Chain Mapping and ComplianceMaintain SEDEX and Amfori supply chain mapping with visibility across relevant tiersTrack compliance and identify geographic and product level risksSupport due diligence requirements linked to EU regulations including CSRD and EUDRAssist with raw material stewardship including cotton traceability and relevant component checksData, Reporting and SystemsPrepare sustainability reporting using Power BI and Excel with responsibility for data accuracyMaintain dashboards and provide insights for internal reviewsAct as business owner for audit and compliance systems including SEDEX and AmforiSupport development of KPIs and controls linked to regulatory and due diligence requirementsVendor Governance and Issue ManagementSupport vendor onboarding checks including documentation and compliance requirementsTrack supplier issues or grievances and coordinate escalation to internal ownersMaintain digital records linked to vendor approval and due diligenceContribute to governance of vendor contract clauses and identity or sanctions checksTraining and Capacity BuildingCoordinate sustainability and ethical trade training for suppliers and internal teamsSupport development of guidance materials and checklists using digital and AI supported toolsParticipate in internal ethical trade reviews to align actions and support vendor activation decisionsRequirementsBachelor degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, Supply Chain or similar3 to 5 years experience in ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance), sustainable procurement, supply chain or factory compliance ideally in a textiles/clothing/footwear background with an Asian Supply ChainStrong analytical and data skills with proficiency in Excel and reporting toolsFamiliarity with SEDEX, SMETA, Bsci or similar ethical trade standardsOrganised, detail minded and effective working cross functionallyStrong communication skills and stakeholder engagement.
