## **JOB DESCRIPTION:****IT Program Manager – Veeva CRM****Location:** Dublin **Business Unit:** Commercial Delivery Solutions – Abbott Diabetes Care **Travel:** ~10% (regional & occasional international)**About the Role**We are seeking a **high-impact IT Program Manager** with strong experience delivering **regional-scale software and business applications** within the **Medical, Pharma, MedTech, or broader Healthcare sector**.
This role leads end-to-end **Veeva CRM** delivery—partnering closely with commercial, marketing, and field teams to deliver technology that elevates customer engagement and drives commercial excellence.You will be the **strategic IT partner**, accountable for translating business needs into scalable solutions, managing high-visibility programs, and guiding cross-functional technical teams across the region.
**What You'll Lead (Key Responsibilities)*** **Own program delivery** for Veeva CRM and related modules (Vault, Align, Engage, PromoMats, Campaign Manager).
* **Drive full project lifecycle**—from business case creation and planning to execution, deployment, and post-go-live optimization.
* Lead **regional software implementation projects** with a focus on commercial applications (sales, marketing, digital engagement).
* Build strong partnerships with business leaders to understand needs, define requirements, and influence solution design.
* Manage **stakeholders across commercial, IT, and external vendors** to ensure alignment, timely execution, and issue resolution.
* Lead and mentor **cross-functional technical teams** (onshore/offshore) to achieve project milestones and deliver high-quality outcomes.
* Navigate complex environments with confidence—balancing scope, risks, budget, and timelines across multiple workstreams.
* Facilitate workshops, map business processes, and create functional/technical documentation as needed.
* Serve as an escalation point, ensuring informed decision-making and proactive risk mitigation.
* Ensure compliance with **regulatory, quality, and IT governance standards** within a healthcare environment.
**What You Bring (Ideal Profile)*** Experience delivering technology solutions within **Pharma, MedTech, Medical Devices, or Healthcare**—ideally across multiple countries or regions.
* Strong background in **CRM technology delivery**, specifically **100% Veeva CRM**.
* Proven success in **IT program management** within complex matrix organizations.
* Experience leading **technical delivery teams**, including developers, analysts, and vendors.
* Confident stakeholder manager, able to communicate effectively with senior commercial and IT leaders.
* Solid understanding of **Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies**.
* Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage several initiatives simultaneously.
* Exceptional communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
**Preferred Qualifications*** Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
* 7–10 years of IT experience in large, complex environments.
* 5+ years leading global or regional software delivery programs.
* Experience with complementary technologies (nice to have): + Veeva CRM in Healthcare + Global data warehouse solutions + Master Data Management (MDM)This is a high-visibility regional role where you will shape the technology roadmap for one of the world's most innovative healthcare companies.
