We are currently seeking experienced, safety-conscious, and dedicated Aircraft Refuelling Drivers with ADR licence (tankers and packages) to join our team at Dublin Airport. This is a safety-critical role that requires candidates to have a strong commitment to operational excellence, efficiency, and safety standards. The initial contract will be for 11 months with a view to leading to a permanent contract. The probation period is for 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely refuel aircraft using Trucks/Tankers and Hydrant Dispensers.
* Perform vehicle pre-operations checks and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly (360 walk-about).
* Maintain high safety standards at all times and follow all airport protocols and guidelines.
* All paperwork to be completed accurately.
* Work collaboratively with the refuelling team and other airport operations personnel to ensure the smooth and efficient refuelling process.
* Adhere to all safety and regulatory compliance standards.
* Adhere to company policies at all times.
* Achieve KPI targets, Meet performance objectives
* Additional tasks as required by the refuelling manager or airport authorities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
* Full C+E (Class 1) ADR Licence (Tankers and Packages).
* Minimum 3 years' experience driving articulated vehicles (Artic trucks). This is a safety-critical role, and previous experience with Artic vehicles is essential.
* Garda vetting clearance required.
* Successful candidates must pass a five-year employment background check as part of our security policy.
* Penalty point statement (driving history) is required.
* Must pass a Pre-Employment Medical and be signed off fit.
* Strong English proficiency (oral and written) due to the nature of the role and communication requirements.
* Flexible regarding shifts.
* Successful completion of a driving assessment.
* Full classroom and practical training given over a 4 week period
* Safety and compliance are the top priority in this position
