About the Role A leading accountancy and advisory firm is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join their expanding team in Dublin.
This is a flexible opportunity open to both full-time and part-time applicants, ideal for a professional with a strong background in practice and additional industry experience.
As Accounting Manager, you will oversee a diverse client portfolio, manage a small team, and be responsible for delivering accurate and insightful financial reporting and advisory services.
Key Responsibilities Manage the preparation and review of management accounts, year-end financials, and financial reporting packs.
Oversee VAT, PAYE, and other tax compliance for client companies.
Supervise and support a team of junior accountants and trainees.
Liaise directly with clients across various sectors, building strong, long-term relationships.
Provide strategic financial input and advice to clients and internal teams.
Ensure deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.
Support system implementations, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
Coordinate with audit, tax, and advisory teams to ensure seamless client service delivery.
Requirements ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a practice environment is essential.
Additional experience working in industry or an outsourced finance function is highly desirable.
Strong technical knowledge of Irish accounting standards (FRS 102) and tax regulations.
Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients and review work produced by others.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
Experience with cloud accounting platforms (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, etc.).
