Role Description
• To identify and develop new business accounts which will deliver profitable, sustainable growth in line with the company's capabilities.
• Having an entrepreneurial approach, bringing clarity and vision to the table, by communicating clearly the customers' requirements to all relevant cross-functions within the business.
Primary Focus
1. The development of new business accounts within Ireland & UK, to exhaust all potential.
2. Manage the current established UK accounts by enhancing the growth of our current customer UK accounts.
3. Manage account activities within Ireland & UK when applicable, and identify new opportunities to expand our account portfolio in line with our business capabilities.
Reporting to: Derek Dunwoody (Head of Commercial, Technical & R&D)
* To identify new direct business opportunities within the categories listed above and manage their activity ensuring delivery of sustained growth and profitability.
* To conduct market research, identifying new opportunities and presenting proposals for new business development to the management team at sales meetings.
* Present the Head of Commercial with a weekly report on progress using the provided template, ensuring regular communication on any changes or updates.
* Demonstrate KPI management in respect of your agreed KPI targets.
* Ensure all new potential sales opportunities with new customers are credit control validated before engagement, with costings positively released by the Financial Controller and Head of Commercial.
* Manage price increases through close consultation with the Procurement Manager, Financial Controller, and Head of Commercial.
* Familiar with research in identifying consumer needs and behaviors in the ingredients landscape.
* Act as the link between the customer and R&D, and other technical support functions within the business.
* Represent and promote AllinAll at trade shows such as the F.I.E when required.
* Manage product delists with relevant internal and external stakeholders, ensuring costs are managed diligently with no exposures.
* Coordinate product development activities, providing technical updates to customers through workshops when applicable.
* Present technical reports on new product launches and generate updates on product development for management and customers.
* Manage travel costs within acceptable limits, leveraging support from grant funding and government agencies.
Credentials
• Experience in the Food Industry, preferably with ingredients and technical expertise.
