Job Title:
Pharmacy Technician
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing and dispensing prescriptions efficiently and professionally.
* Managing prescription control and associated documentation.
* Handling MDS preparation and assisting with monthly PCRS claims.
* Providing OTC support and advice to customers.
* Delivering exceptional customer service and building rapport with patients.
* Monitoring dispensary stock, expiry dates, and placing ethical orders.
* Supporting pharmacy management with tasks like stockroom upkeep and inter-branch transfers.
* Assisting with merchandising and planograms as needed.
* Engaging in ongoing personal development and training opportunities.
Requirements:
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A genuine passion for customer care.
* Team player who can also work independently.
* Organised, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
* Friendly, proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
* Completion of the IPU Pharmacy Technician course or a Higher Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies.
* Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written skills.
