The Position
Our Financial Accounting and Outsourcing Services Division provides accounting, reporting, and compliance services to clients across sectors such as manufacturing, distribution, retail, financial and professional services, and the public sector. We offer cost-effective full finance solutions and ensure compliance with reporting and tax regulations.
Our clients range from large global corporations to emerging businesses establishing operations in Ireland, as well as indigenous SMEs and public sector organizations.
The Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Preparation of statutory financial statements and management accounts
* Preparation and submission of VAT, VIES, and Intrastat returns
* Staff training and supervision
* Liaising with clients and attending meetings
* Communicating with Revenue Commissioners
* Reviewing bookkeeping and related files, including balance sheet reconciliations
* Reviewing monthly work in progress and billing
* Controlling monthly invoices
* Preparing proposals and presentations for clients
* Performing ad hoc administrative duties as required
Principal Requirements
* Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or similar)
* Experience working with public sector organizations
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and strong Excel modelling skills
* Meticulous attention to detail
* Ability to meet deadlines effectively
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Knowledge of computerised accounting packages (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks) is advantageous
* Ability to work independently and on initiative
* Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
