Your new companyThis company provide finance leasing to a number of car dealerships across the country. They are in a phase of growth and seeking an experienced commercial credit underwriter to join the team. This is not a junior level position and all applicants must have relevant credit underwriting experience within car financing.Your new roleManagement of retail, leasing, and wholesale corporate portfolio and funding lines within a delegated authority.Complete annual credit applications for corporate portfolio funding lines.Quarterly review of corporate management accounts, outside of the annual review process highlighting high risk points to management.Control the quality of the business approved by ensuring local & Head headquarters credit policy, procedures and guidelines are being adhered to at all timesOn-site customer reviews when necessary to support the credit application process. Representing the credit function when meeting with existing or potential customersPrepare and report dealer / corporate financial trends, reporting to management and the risk department where required.Annual review and implementation of Head Quarter European guidelines.Management of funding information submissions, ensuring annual deadlines are not breached.Establish and develop relationships with all key stakeholders within the business and beyond to maximise all new business opportunities.Other ad hoc duties as required.What you'll need to succeed3rd level education & Financial Services qualification or equivalentFCCC in compliance with the Minimum Competency Requirements (MCR) as per the Financial Regulator5 years minimum relevant corporate credit experienceStrong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detailAbility to build and maintain relationshipsMust display a strong knowledge of corporate underwriting and SME Credit regulationFluency in English (written and spoken)What you'll get in returnThis role offers a salary up to €65,000, with benefits including pension, product discounts, health allowance and hybrid workingThe office is based in Dublin 22 and easily accessible from the N4, N7 and M50.
