Job Description
Alan Mulligan Contracts Ltd t/a Mulligan Fencing are recruiting 2 Plant Fitters to join their team at Meadstown Dunderry, Navan, Co. Meath C15EP60. The successful candidates will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of plant machinery and equipment used in our manufacturing facility and on‑site projects. This is a key role ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance on all plant and machinery.
* Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical, hydraulic, and minor electrical repairs as required.
* Maintain service records and complete job sheets and inspection checklists.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Plant Fitter.
* Strong mechanical and hydraulic systems knowledge.
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to machinery maintenance.
* Valid driver’s licence (an advantage).
* Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Remuneration is €34,000 per annum based on 39 hours per week.
