Counter Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Counter Manager to lead our retail team in achieving sales objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of motivating staff, delegating roles, and maintaining high customer service standards.
Responsibilities:
* Management: Lead by example, motivate staff, delegate roles, and ensure sales targets are met.
* Sales Goals: Achieve counter and service sales targets through delegation, making connections, demonstrating products, carrying out beauty/brow services, and booking appointments.
* Brow Services: Waxing, Tinting, Tweezing to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat bookings.
* Teamwork: Conduct daily meetings, maintain effective communication, recognize positive work to motivate the team.
* Promotion & Events: Create in-store and external events, including new product launches and charity events.
* Stock: Maintain counter stock levels and report concerns.
* Communication: Maintain open communication with store/department and area managers.
* Administration: Complete administrative tasks and assist with managerial admin as needed.
* Staff Rota: Create fair monthly staff schedules.
* Hygiene & Housekeeping: Ensure cleanliness and hygiene at all times.
Requirements:
* Experience in retail management or a related field.
* Proven track record of motivating staff and achieving sales targets.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Able to work weekends, late nights, and bank holidays.
