Job Title: IT Systems Delivery Project ManagerPosition SummaryOur client is looking for an experienced IT Systems Delivery Project Manager to lead complex technology projects within the pharmaceutical industry. This role focuses on delivering high-quality IT solutions while incorporating Agile methodologies and practices to drive efficiency, compliance, and innovation.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Delivery & GovernancePlan, execute, and monitor IT systems projects ensuring alignment with business objectives.Develop project charters, scope, timelines, and budgets, track progress against baselines.Implement risk management strategies and ensure timely resolution of issues.Agile LeadershipApply frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban to manage iterative development and continuous improvement.Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, sprint management, backlog refinement, retrospectives, daily stand-ups) and coach teams on best practices.Stakeholder EngagementCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including business, regulatory, and technical stakeholders.Communicate project vision, progress, and outcomes effectively to senior leadership.Compliance & QualityEnsure adherence to pharmaceutical regulatory standards (GxP, data integrity, validation).Maintain audit-ready documentation and support validation deliverables.Tools & TechnologyUtilize enterprise Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, etc.) for planning and tracking.Promote automation and modern delivery practices to enhance productivity.QualificationsBachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; PMP and Agile certifications (Scrum Master, SAFe) preferred.Proven experience managing IT systems delivery projects in the pharmaceutical industry.Strong understanding of Agile principles and ability to embed them into delivery processes.Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.Preferred SkillsFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).Knowledge of design thinking and customer-centric delivery.Experience with regulated environments and validation processes.
