In this role, you will provide legal support for a wide range of commercial contracts, ensuring compliance, managing risk, and enabling business success across our global operations. You will work closely with commercial, procurement, and operational teams, advising on contract terms and negotiations with customers, suppliers, and partners.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including supply, distribution, service, NDAs, licensing, and collaboration agreementsProvide clear, pragmatic legal advice to business stakeholders, balancing legal risk with commercial goalsAssist in managing corporate governance, including entity management and board resolutions.Support cross-border transactions and global projects, working closely with regional and global teamsAdvise on legal risks and contractual obligations, and assist in the resolution of contract dispus or escalationsDevelop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and legal guidelinesEnsure compliance with applicable laws, industry regulations, and internal policiesCollaborate with external counsel when necessary and manage legal spend effectivelySupport legal training and awareness initiatives within the businessCandidate RequirementsQualified lawyer with 5+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE), ideally gained in-house or in a reputable law firmStrong experience in commercial contract law, preferably within the healthcare or life sciences sectorExcellent drafting and negotiation skills with a practical, solutions-focused mindsetAbility to work independently while being a collaborative team playerComfortable managing multiple priorities across different time zones and jurisdictionsFluent in English; additional languages (e.g., German, French) are a plusStrong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholdersWhy Join Us?Work in a dynamic and innovative global environmentBe part of a purpose-driven company contributing to science, health, and sustainabilityCollaborate with a diverse, talented, and international teamOpportunities for professional development and growthAbout usBiosynth is an innovative life sciences reagents, custom synthesis and manufacturing services company headquartered in Staad, Switzerland.
