About Your New Job
As the Senior R&D Engineering Manager, you will:
* Lead the R&D engineering team to execute critical development projects.
* Be accountable for the engineering staff in Galway, creating a high-performing team culture.
* Formulate partnerships with cross-functional Core Team members to foster collaboration and cross-functional effectiveness.
* Plan, direct, and coach team members, ensuring project success.
* This position is hybrid with a 4-day per week onsite requirement.
What Skills You Need
* Experience in the medical device market with a 5+ years catheter experience
* Level 8 Degree in Engineering or related discipline with 5 years relevant experience or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience.
* Experience in people management of engineers including 1-1's, performance reviews, recruiting, disciplinaries, and career development.
* A dynamic team player and influencer who can work effectively and proactively on cross-functional teams.
* Excellent team building, communication, people management, and management skills.
* Extensive Program Management skills are a distinct advantage.
