Are you a highly experienced Project Manager with deep roots in utility infrastructure looking for a challenging assignment? We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead critical Central Utilities Building upgrade projects at an existing facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who thrives on traditional project controls, mechanical systems, and delivering complex engineering capital investment projects.
The Opportunity
You will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of utility upgrades focusing on key mechanical systems.
Core Project Focus:
* Central Utilities Building Upgrades
* Chilled Water Systems and Cooling Towers
* Low Pressure Hot Water (LPHW) Infrastructure
* Oversight of mechanical piping, electrical, and automation aspects.
Key Responsibilities:
* End-to-end project management, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
* Robust project controls including detailed reporting, budget tracking, and forecasting.
* Managing multi-disciplinary teams and vendors (mechanical, electrical, and automation).
* Ensuring project delivery is on time and within budget.
What You'll Bring
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
* 10+ years of experience in engineering capital investment projects.
* 5+ years in a dedicated Project Manager role
* Demonstrable experience with chilled water systems and/or heat pump projects.
* Strong technical knowledge of utility mechanical systems (e.g., chilled water, steam, cooling towers, boilers).
* Expertise in traditional project controls, including reporting, budgeting, and scheduling.
Nice-to-Haves:
* Pharma/GxP experience (beneficial, but not essential).
* PMP certification or a similar recognised Project Management credential.
