FT Workforce is currently recruiting an experienced Mechanical Fitter for a full-time permanent position based in Galway.

Responsibilities
Installation, assembly, and maintenance of mechanical equipment and machinery.
Fault finding and repair of mechanical systems.
Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Working as part of a maintenance and engineering team to meet production and operational requirements.
Requirements
Mechanical Fitter qualification or relevant trade background.
Previous experience in a mechanical fitting, maintenance, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full driving licence is desirable.
