Together we cover Product & Payments, Technology, Sportsbook Product & Trading, People, Property, Corporate Communications and Strategic Partnerships & Transformation.The Head of Planning and Portfolio Management for Technology Operations is a strategic leadership role responsible for coordinating the delivery of critical technology initiatives across Cloud Infrastructure, Networking, Service Management, and Cyber Security. This role ensures efficient portfolio performance, prioritization of resources, and delivery excellence while encouraging collaboration across Technology Operations and the broader Delivery community.What you'll doPortfolio Management & DeliveryLead and coordinate the Technology Operations portfolio covering four essential domains: Cloud Infrastructure, Networking, Service Management, and Cyber SecurityEnsure projects and initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business expectationsEstablish and maintain portfolio governance frameworks, including prioritization criteria, capacity planning, and dependency managementDrive portfolio optimization to improve value delivery and resource utilizationMonitor portfolio health metrics and implement corrective actions where necessaryCollaborator Management & ReportingDevelop and maintain comprehensive management reporting frameworks providing visibility of portfolio status, risks, and outcomesPresent portfolio performance to senior leadership and key collaboratorsWork closely with the wider Technology teams to understand priorities and constraintsProcess Build & GovernanceBuild and implement intake processes for Technology Operations in collaboration with functional headsEstablish clear intake mechanisms for requirements flowing to and from other teamsDefine and detail cross-functional workflows, handoff points, and procedures for handling blocking issuesCompose standardized processes for demand management, prioritization, and prioritisationEnsure alignment with enterprise portfolio management standards and methodologiesCross-Functional CollaborationWork alongside the extended Delivery community to develop standardized intake and partnership approachesFacilitate coordination between Technology Operations and other technology teams on shared dependenciesDrive process harmonization to ensure seamless flow of work across organizational boundariesPlanning for long-term goalsContribute to Technology Operations long-term planning and roadmap developmentIdentify portfolio-level risks, dependencies, and opportunitiesSupport capacity planning and resource forecasting across the four pillarsDrive initiatives to improve delivery predictability and operational efficiencyWhat you'll need:Proven experience in portfolio management, program management, or delivery management within technology environmentsSolid knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure, Networking, Service Management, and/or Cyber Security fieldsDemonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-workstream portfoliosExperience crafting and implementing intake and governance processesExcellent collaborator management skills with ability to influence at senior levelsStrong analytical skills with experience crafting management reporting and dashboardsExperience working in matrix organizations and driving cross-functional collaborationKnowledge of portfolio management methodologies and guidelinesExcellent communication and presentation skillsGood to haveExperience within Technology Operations or Infrastructure functionsFamiliarity with Agile, SAFe, or other scaled delivery frameworksKnowledge of ITIL, COBIT, or similar service management frameworksExperience with portfolio management tools (e.g., Jira Align, ServiceNow PPM, Clarity)Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)Background in cyber security or risk managementProject/Program management certifications (PMP, MSP, PgMP)What's in it for youWe value flexibility as an employer.
