Job Title: Operations Excellence Manager – Ireland
Location: Castlebar / Drogheda
Reporting To: Operations Lead – Ireland
Key Responsibilities
* Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality.
* Methodology Application: Utilise methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement techniques.
* Data Analysis: Analyse data to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, leaders, and stakeholders to implement successful changes and drive results.
* Training & Development: Develop and deliver training on new processes and methodologies to ensure adoption and sustainability.
* Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on the performance of implemented changes and continuously improve processes based on data and feedback.
* Change Management: Facilitate change management processes to ensure successful implementation of new processes and systems.
* Hoshin / Strategy Deployment: Facilitate top-down initiatives into defined projects across the plant footprint; train Plant Managers and CI Managers to cascade into their sites.
* Program Oversight: Maintain overall program management, report writing, and project tracking.
Skills & Knowledge
* Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
* Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
* Ability to drive the right behaviours through a systematic approach, setting teams up for success.
Education
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
Experience
* Proven track record within Operational Excellence / Continuous Improvement roles.
* Experience in leading and supporting PDCA, DMAIC problem solving, project management, and facilitation of kaizen events.
