We are recruiting for a
Regional EHS Manager
to join a Tier 1 M&E contractor, this role will be based in Galway.
In this role you will lead Environmental, Health and Safety operations across multiple large-scale projects and business units across Connacht.
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor EHS teams to ensure consistent implementation of EHS standards.
Ensure compliance with Safety Statements, risk assessments, and regulatory frameworks.
As
Regional EHS Manager
you will act as escalation point for high-risk safety issues and provide expert guidance.
Oversee EHS audits, inspections, and compliance assessments.
Manage incident reporting and investigations, ensuring root causes and corrective actions.
Drive proactive risk management and hazard identification across projects.
Ensure contractor safety compliance and competency approvals.
Requirements
Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related discipline.
Professional certification (e.g., NEBOSH Diploma) desirable.
Minimum 5+ years' EHS management experience in construction, mechanical, or electrical sectors.
This
Regional EHS Manager
will need strong knowledge of Irish, UK, and EU EHS regulations and standards.
Proven leadership experience managing teams across multiple sites.
Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
