We are looking for a Full-time Soft Services Manager to join our team in Kilkenny, Ireland.
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM
Job Description
1. Manage the operational delivery of a premium facilities services contract portfolio, ensuring high service standards and full SLA compliance.
2. Lead and develop a team of operatives and supervisors, supporting recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management.
3. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and effective issue resolution.
4. Oversee scheduling, payroll, rostering, and HR compliance for smooth daily operations.
5. Ensure safe systems of work and full health & safety compliance across all sites.
6. Monitor, report, and manage performance against KPIs, producing timely client reports and service reviews.
7. Drive cost control and efficiency improvements to maximize value and achieve savings.
8. Manage inventory, uniforms, equipment, vehicles, and subcontractors to maintain standards and reduce operational risk.
9. Lead continuous improvement initiatives and operational innovations for best-in-class service delivery.
10. Conduct regular site audits, respond to ad hoc projects, and support wider company objectives as needed.
Requirements
1. Minimum 5 years' experience in a regulated client environment, ideally within cleaning or security services.
2. Proven experience managing teams, with strong leadership and staff development skills.
3. Commercial awareness with budget management and cost control experience.
4. Exceptional communication and client relationship skills.
5. A proactive, solution-focused mindset with problem-solving abilities.
6. Ability to manage multiple sites, priorities, and complex situations simultaneously.
7. Familiarity with operational reporting, rostering, and HR procedures.
8. Third-level qualification or equivalent; membership of a relevant professional body is desirable.
9. PSA accreditation and Garda vetting are advantageous.
10. Full clean driving license; role involves travel across client sites.
