 
        
        Food and Beverage Assistant
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team in Hilton Dublin Kilmainham. The ideal candidate must hold a permission to work on a full‑time basis, be customer‑oriented, have a can‑do attitude and enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
 * Carry out all bar duties to the standards set in the performance manuals.
 * Ensure all guest queries are handled promptly and efficiently.
 * Meet all guest requests, including VIPs, regulars, group attendees and special requirements.
 * Maximise revenue through upselling, additional sales and efficient recording of sales.
 * Create and update guest profiles in the Fidelio system.
 * Follow up promptly on any guest request to achieve guest satisfaction.
 * Process all charges for groups and individuals efficiently.
 * Maximise seating capacity without compromising standards.
 * Stay aware of competitor information and market changes to support service and rate adjustments.
 * Ensure all staff are familiar with safe‑keeping, cash handling and credit policy.
 * Assist in compiling and achieving the conference and F&B budget.
 * Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest requests are handled efficiently.
 * Stay informed about menu updates, hotel promotions and local activities.
 * Assist with promotional events for guests and staff.
 * Maintain a good working relationship with support companies or groups.
 * Ensure product introductions (beverage & wine lists, presentation products & props) meet standards.
 * Adhere to all standards at all times.
The Ideal Candidate
 * Friendly, approachable manner with strong communication skills.
 * Excellent organisational skills.
 * Previous relevant experience in a 3* or 4* hotel (desirable but not essential).
 * Hands‑on attitude.
 * Eligible to work full‑time year‑round without restriction (visa restrictions not suitable).
 * Fluent in English.
 * Exceptional customer care and problem‑resolution skills.
