Site based h&s lead

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Health and Safety Professional to join our team in Dublin. With over 100 years of construction expertise, we offer a strong safety-first culture, excellent professional support, and exposure to a wide range of public and private sector projects.

As a site-based Health & Safety Officer, you will work closely with the Health & Safety Manager, Contracts Manager, and Director of Construction. You will benefit from ongoing mentorship through the SHEQ team and monthly independent site audits.

Your primary responsibilities will include promoting and maintaining a strong site safety culture at all times. This involves monitoring, evaluating, and acting on any site safety risks to ensure compliance with legislation and best practice.

Additionally, you will support the SHEQ Manager in identifying training needs for staff development. You will assist with internal health & safety audits and attend relevant site meetings.

You are also expected to prepare and maintain safety documentation such as method statements, risk assessments, safety statements.
