Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Administrative Officer to join our team. As an Administrative Officer, you will provide administrative support to the Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) programme.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operational Management: Participate in the development and management of SOPs, be familiar with relevant standards and ensure compliance with audits and hospital policies.
* Communication: Ensure good communication amongst IPC team members, record and circulate minutes when required.
* Staff Development/Training: Ensure 100% attendance at Hospital Mandatory training, identify own training needs and keep up-to-date with technologies as they apply to your role.
* General Duties: Manage departmental letters, provide administrative functions, attend and record minutes of IPC-related meetings, assist with the production of policies and standard operating procedures, maintain and update these documents as required.
Requirements:
* Mandatory Qualifications: Leaving certificate level education preferably with a Science subject or relevant experience.
* Excellent MS Office skills to include Word, Excel.
* Relevant experience of Microbiology laboratory or Infection Prevention and Control is desirable.
* Experience with data collection and formulating reports.
* Good Communication Skills.
