About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially minded Financial Accounting Business Partner to join our finance team. This role blends strong technical accounting skills with the ability to act as a trusted advisor to the business.


Key Responsibilities

* Financial Accounting Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely monthly and quarterly management accounts; Ensure compliance with all tax requirements including VAT; Maintain and reconcile Sales Purchase ledger accounts, General ledger codes in all company accounts, fixed assets register, and the inventory ledger.
* Cashflow Financial Control: Manage company cash flow, forecasting, and banking relationships; Monitor working capital and recommend process improvements to optimise liquidity; Ensure robust internal controls, policies, and processes are implemented and maintained.
* Ad Hoc Strategic Projects: Support the development of financial dashboards and KPIs to improve visibility and accountability across the business; Support the CFO, Finance Director and wider finance team as required.


Essential Skills

* Part-qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA)
* Strong knowledge of Irish accounting standards, tax compliance, and audit processes
* Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with non-financial stakeholders
* Commercially focused, with the ability to think strategically and operationally
* Detail-oriented, proactive, with the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
* Ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the organisation
