The Parkmore Engineering Maintenance Team focuses on maximizing equipment reliability through targeted maintenance activities and improvements. The Manufacturing Maintenance Technician ensures that production equipment performs optimally in safety, quality, and availability.

A Day in The Life Of:
Responsibilities may include the following, and other duties may be assigned:
* Perform various engineering maintenance tasks in mechanical and automated control areas.
* Fabricate and machine components and fixtures using lathes, milling machines, and other workshop equipment to support manufacturing.
* Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety and cGMP standards.
* Minimize equipment downtime by responding quickly to issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective and preventative measures.
* Record maintenance activities, corrective actions, and root causes in the CMMS system.
* Represent the engineering maintenance function in equipment design and performance improvement initiatives.
* Work from schematics, engineering drawings, and instructions.
* Execute preventative maintenance routines as scheduled.
* Provide technical support to engineering, operations, quality, and safety teams.
* Utilize best-in-class maintenance tools to support the Medtronic Maintenance Excellence process.
* Support Lean Sigma initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
* Assist with engineering and manufacturing training.
Key Skills & Experience
* Qualified with a minimum NFQ Level 6 Mechanical craft certificate or relevant academic qualification.
* Proven hands-on experience in mechanical and automation maintenance.
* Experience with manual lathes, milling machines, and other machine tools; CNC experience is a plus.
* Demonstrate Medtronic mindsets and good presentation skills are desirable.
* Ability to work effectively in a team and proactively on cross-functional teams.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
* Computer literacy and good team dynamics skills.
* Knowledge of automated systems is advantageous.
* Ability to work evening shifts.
