- Friday Hours:35 hours per week We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join our Children's Disability Network in Tallaght on a temporary basis.The successful candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to children with disabilities.Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for children with a range of speech, language, and communication needs.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.Provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and educational staff to facilitate effective communication strategies.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each child's care.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes.Participate in team meetings and contribute to service development initiatives.Required Skills and Qualifications: Degree in Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent qualification recognized by the relevant professional body.Registration with CORU Proven experience in pediatric speech and language therapy, particularly within a disability context.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong assessment and intervention planning abilities.Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.Desirable Skills: Experience in using alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) methods.Familiarity with developmental disorders such as autism, cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome.Skills in delivering parent and staff training workshops.Must be a resident in Ireland and hold one of the following: EU passport or GNIB card with Stamp 1 G, Stamp 2, Stamp 4, Stamp 4 D, Stamp 5, or 4 EUFam.Willing to undergo Garda Vetting.
