TELUS Health is a leading Employee Assistance Programme provider, offering emotional and practical support to client companies and their employees. We're expanding our Affiliate Counsellor Network in Ireland to provide face-to-face counselling services.
About the Role:
We're seeking qualified counsellors to join our network and provide face-to-face short-term counselling services to our clients. This is an opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and contribute to their well-being in a professional, supportive environment.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Manage online referrals promptly
2. Contact clients to arrange appointments within agreed timeframes
3. Provide short-term counselling (3-8 sessions)
4. Submit timely written/verbal feedback and case notes
5. Report risk cases to our Case Management Team
Role Requirements:
1. Registration/accreditation with IACP, PSI, ICP, APCP, IAHIP, or equivalent
2. If not accredited: Diploma-level qualification, 3 years post-qualification experience, 450+ counselling hours
3. Experience in short-term counselling interventions
4. Proficiency in assessment and support planning
5. Understanding of organizational dynamics and workplace issues
6. Professional indemnity insurance (min. €1,000,000)
7. Access to a suitable, dedicated consulting room
8. Regular professional clinical supervision
