Role Overview
Dexcom Stadium is a premier multi-use venue known for hosting sports matches, corporate functions, and community events.
Home to Connacht Rugby team, the stadium prides itself on delivering exceptional food experiences—from daily café service to high-profile banquets and player-focused nutrition.
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Head Chef to lead all culinary operations across the stadium.
This is a high-profile leadership role requiring innovation, precision, and a passion for quality.
Key Responsibilities
Ensuring kitchen staff adhere to quality, hygiene and cleanliness standards
Staying up-to-date with culinary trends and kitchen processes
Oversee special hospitability events, corporate events and where necessary offer culinary instruction and demonstrate techniques
Dealing with suppliers and ensuring quality goods
Managing the inventory and ordering stock as needed
Manage stock rotation
Forecast supply needs and estimate costs
Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen equipment and organising servicing/repairs
To incorporate a Farm-to-Fork philosophy to life by sourcing ingredients from our own Ellen Farm and integrating local, seasonal, and sustainable produce into menu development and execution.
Implement and manage HACCP training
Working with budgets and targets
Building and maintaining client relationships
Manage and lead the kitchen team
Rostering
Maximize the productivity of the kitchen staff
Collaborate with the Management Team

What We're Looking For
.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
· Ability to remain composed, professional, and solution-focused when managing high-pressure or challenging situations.
· Has the ambition to constantly improve & succeed in the role.
· Show willingness to work, learn everything possible during the period of employment.
· Communication and leadership skills.
· Mastery in delegating multiple tasks.
· Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to €55,****** per year
