This role offers the opportunity to work on water projects in the Wicklow/Kildare area, supervising and managing programmes of work to deliver new and upgraded water network improvements.
Main Responsibilities:
* Leading teams of engineers and technicians to deliver water projects.
* Ensuring projects are delivered in compliance with contracts and legislation.
* Managing health, safety, quality and environmental issues.
* Coordinating with contractors and stakeholders to deliver projects.
* Reviewing and approving design drawings.
* Providing feedback to stakeholders and maintaining accurate records.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* A minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience in on-site supervision and site engineering of civil engineering works, including water projects.
* A degree in a relevant discipline, such as civil engineering.
* Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong knowledge and experience of health and safety procedures and regulations.
* A valid SafePass card is essential; confined spaces training is desirable.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate previous experience in the design or construction of watermain upgrades and rehabilitation techniques, leakage repair, etc. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
