Retail Development Manager (Automotive)

We're working with a premium automotive manufacturer to recruit a Retail Development Manager who will play a key role in driving dealer performance across Ireland.
This is a strategic role focused on influencing rather than direct selling. You'll lead critical conversations with retailers (car dealerships), challenge them to meet targets, and support the delivery of brand excellence at retail.

Key Responsibilities
Drive retailer performance and new car sales volume across your territory
Influence retailer principals and managers to meet KPIs and targets
Lead the rollout of sales programmes, product launches, and marketing campaigns
Monitor stock flow and optimise inventory
Ensure compliance with brand standards and retail audits
Collaborate with field-based agencies and internal teams
Provide regular reporting and insights to the Commercial Manager
Who You Are
4+ years minimum experience in automotive or B2B retail sales
Strong influencing and relationship-building skills
Confident communicator, comfortable having critical performance conversations
Highly organised, analytical, and commercially sharp
Full Irish driving licence required
Ideal for someone looking to move from a dealership into a manufacturer role, or with experience managing retail accounts
